A Website Redesign to Highlight S&R Interiors Stunning Interior Design Portfolio

Client Overview

S&R Interiors is an interior fit-out subcontractor specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end, bespoke interiors. They work with tier 1 main contractors across London and surrounding areas. To showcase their project portfolio and confirm their capacity to deliver quality services, they hired me to design and build a new luxury, easy-to-use business website.

Project Goals

The main goal of the site was to affirm to potential clients that S&R could provide the quality services required of a luxury interior fit-out company. The typical client of S&R doesn’t need to be convinced of a service; they just need to know the company has the capacity to undertake the services they need. Therefore, the website needed to effectively showcase S&R’s project portfolio and the high-quality interiors they produce.

Key Features and Functionalities

The project portfolio was the main feature of the site. Showcasing the amazing interiors S&R has produced was crucial to winning more clients. The portfolio was designed to be easy to navigate, with high-quality images and descriptions of each project.

Challenges and Solutions

The main challenge was creating a high-quality, engaging site with limited information. As the site was primarily a portfolio site rather than a lead generation site, it needed to be engaging while being light on content. To achieve this, I used selective animations for both the text and images, with oversized fonts to help fill the white space. This approach created a visually appealing site that effectively showcased S&R’s work without overwhelming visitors with excessive information.

Results

The result was an easy-to-use, high-quality website that effectively showcases the quality of work S&R Interiors produce. The site serves as a powerful tool for S&R, helping them to demonstrate their capabilities to potential clients and affirm their position as a leading provider of luxury interior fit-out services.
